Yukiko joined Japanese Standards Association in 2005. In her career, she was committed to various responsibilities including sales and publication, global capacity building as well as ISO and IEC governance policies. From 2019 to 2022, she was appointed the director in JSA’s Geneva regional office to enhance global collaborations. Since 2022 she manages national mirror committees to multiple ISO technical committees. She is also active in discussions for ISO and IEC governance policies, for example, serving as Japan’s representative to ISO/IEC JSAG on Gender Responsive Standards, and as the chair of business model-related subgroup of IEC/ISO SMART Project.
