I am Kathryn Sullivan I have been Discovery Manager within the Library at The University of Manchester since 2013 and I lead the Metadata & Discovery team within the Collections Strategies Directorate. I am an experienced service manager with a history of library management in HE and academic libraries. Passionate about metadata quality to enable discovery and access for all formats and purposes ranging from rare print monographs, electronic book and journal subscriptions and digital objects which exist within the Manchester Digital Collections. Co chair of the Northern Collaboration Special interest groups for Metadata and UX, and serve on the committee as secretary for the Metadata Discovery Group MDG the special interest group within CILIP the library and information association.
